We spent the day just Rocky, Me, and a very active belly :)
We started off the day with Krispy Kreams donuts (until the ants attacked them),
went to a parade, then grilled out at the NEW wonderful house (which I need to post pictures and do a blog on that), after grilling and eating a huge meal (brussel sprouts, corn on the cob, hamburgers, hot dogs wrapped in bacon YUMMINESS) we went into a food coma, to top off the perfect day we went to Biggs where there was a live band lots of people watching and some pretty decent fireworks!!!

Breastfeeding

I have started my first breastfeeding book, the farther I get into it the more obsessed I become on researching and learning more about it! 1. because I want to be successful and what better chance then to be as knowledgeable as possible on the topic and 2. because there is SSSOOO much to learn!!!
It is the one "baby topic" that I feel the most clueless about
My Doctor recommended this site kellymom.org
and I wanted to share something from there that I not only find so encouraging
But really the best piece of information I have read so far
and a reminder to me that "through him all things are possible" whats meant to be is already planned out for my future as well as my precious babies.

"Yes, these folks believe, even after countless centuries of evolution and/or divine design, that breastfeeding is a dirty, messy, sinful, or inferior method of feeding a baby. They’re convinced that modern Science (with all its homage to the profit motive), after investing just a couple decades of Sacred Research, has discovered every nutrient a baby could possibly need and put it in a nice, neat can. Yeah, right. Trust me, there’s absolutely nothing in the Bible that says “thou shalt not breastfeed.” (How do you think Mary fed Jesus?!)
Your body was created by God, a Higher Power, or the forces of evolution (whichever you see fit to believe) with breasts in order to deliver the most perfect food for babies, at the perfect temperature, at any time, in the most nurturing, comforting manner, from a sterile, portable, self-maintaining container… and don’t let any fool, no matter how well-meaning, tell you any different! The relationship between a breastfeeding mother and her baby is sacred and inviolable, filled with purity, innocence, and selfless service."
Just had to share!! Happy Friday To All!!

weekend recap

Sammi was in town for a girl that she went to massage therapy school with - was getting married.
We got to spend a lot of time together which I really enjoyed!!!
Lots of shopping and laying out
I really love that girl ---And feel blessed to have met her (one good thing that came from El Paso)

Thursday night Leonor, Sammi, and I went to Crave to have a girls night --which was DELICIOUS

The night was perfect we sat outside and later on they even started a fire :)

Friday morning Sammi and I took this little ham (Leonors baby boy Andre)
on a long walk, got some amazing Starbucks YUM, and spent some time at the park

Sat night when Sammi went to the wedding Rocky and I had a date night!
We went and saw the movie "what to expect when your expecting" I think eveyone in there was prego!! :)

Sunday was a church day
I am GROWING --and church was so hot I thought I was going to pass out!! :(

We then went and picked up some boxes from The Fowlers who just moved into a house.
I am so excited to start packing up!
Then I had to take Rocky to try out the amazing new snowcone place I found (Bahama Bucks which is AMAZING to say the least) and Sammi wanted to get it one more time before she left the next day)
They have so many flavors and unique ones too!!!
