24 years...can I really be that old??

Well ...it's true I am officially 24 ....that just seems crazy!!!! AND we made it through the day without having a baby hahahaha The one day that I did not want for Urijah to come I was for sure he show up :)
It's not that I didnt want to share my birthday I just wanted my bugaboo to have his own special day and not have to share with anyone else!!! So now that we have by passed the day HE CAN COME OUT NOW!

Did not do anything to special but it was a good day!
Started by walking in the morning and then cleaning like crazy (I think I finally have a few urges of nesting here and there spontaneously)
then I met up with Leonor and the kiddos (family I baby sit for) at Corner Bakery (yogurt parfait and a muffin) she wanted to take me out for brunch
Miss Mila and I(they had to come see our place since they had not come to our side of town and seen it yet)
She got these cupcakes and a "friendship" willow tree too!
Talk about a special friend-so blessed

Then I came home and just relaxed in my very clean house
Was surprised with this delivery from my father in law
They are gorgeous and smell amazing!!!
He did good :)

When the hubs walked in after work he was carrying an Oreo blizzard Ice Cream Cake with 2 4 lit on top singing Happy Birthday to me :) He is so special and I love his heart as well as kid spirit!!!

We of course ate it right away :)
and where so full that we didnt end up eating supper until almost 8
(He made me tacos!!!)

Meanwhile we skyped these boogers
Who no longer look like this :( But yesterday I was looking at all the old pictures on my computer of both their birth days and baby pictures
thinking how crazy it was going to be that that day was coming for my son soon
How I was going to get to experience that breath taking moment again
with my own child!
Gods biggest blessing
They grow way to fast
This is who the real stinkers that we skyped with:
(Tucker was concerned yesterday about not coming to my party He is the sweetest)

And this wild man McCoy his imagination is taking off :) I love love love it!!!

So here is to 24 and all the incredible changes that my life is about to encounter :)

DIY Laundry Detergent

I have been wanting to do this for awhile!!!
I found it on Pinterest the reviews where GREAT
and on top of that they say that at 6 loads a week the batch would last for a whole year!!!
AND if that wasnt good enough it only cost $30 to make SCORE

okay I know you dont think it could get any better, however, there is one more thing
ITS SO SO SO SO EASY

The ingredients:
helpful hints
1) Freeze the zote soap for a little while before grating
2) Target did NOT carry the arm and hammer super wash nor zote soap (Wal Mart)
3) Also get a 5 gal tote or bucket to stir/store

1 (4 lb 12 oz) Box of Borax- Found in the detergent aisle
1 (3 lb 7 oz) Box of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda- Found in the detergent aisle
1 (3 lb) Container of OxyClean- Found in the detergent aisle. (This is optional but I highly recommend adding it)
2 (14.1 oz) Bars of Zote Soap- Found in the detergent aisle (we chose to do pink for the scent but the white would be just fine. You can also use Fels Naptha)
2 (2 lb) Boxes of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda- Found in the cooking aisle (You could also get 1 4 lb box, we just couldn’t find it when we went)
1-2 (55 oz) Bottle of Purex Crystals Fabric Softener- Found in the detergent aisle (This is 100% optional. Like I said, my laundry detergent must smell good and I really like soft towels)

(following paragraph from the pinterest blog I got it from)  The hardest most time consuming part is grating the cheese soap. The hubs thinks it looks like pink cheese….has anyone ever seen pink cheese? Ya didn’t think so! I’m not fortunate enough to have a food processor so I was stuck doing this with a typical hand grater. I did try a blender just for kicks and giggles….total fail! Stick to either a hand grater or food processor if you are blessed enough to have one. I should make it known that the soap dissolves just fine, even in cold water. I know that tends to be a concern but you need not worry. Oh and I would recommend using a large mixing bowl to grate into and using the fine side of the

Definitely was the hardest and really ONLY part besides combining/stirring that you have to even do!!!!! I going to use a food processor but thought this would be just as easy --to my surprise it was a bigger hand/arm work out then expected

Then you just combine!!! best to do in layers so its easier to get all combined and mixed up!
This batch makes A TON! Now for probably the best part…you only need 1-2 Tablespoons per load depending on the size…I’ll give you some time to re-read that since I’m sure your in total disbelief…recover yet? That’s right, you only need 1-2 Tablespoons per load! Now here comes the stroke of genius, if you opted to put the Purex Crystals in your batch, you can scoop the detergent right into your bottle and use the cap as your measuring spoon. There are 3 lines on the side and the middle one is approximately 2 Tablespoons…genius right?

SiCk SiCk SiCk

Rocky had a head cold last week and a respiratory infection and he was nice enough to share with me and baby :(  EXCEPT he cant share all this goodness that he got  from the Dr!

So this week has been pretty miserable to say the least!
Head, throat, chest, nose, drainage, no appetite, upset stomach, achy body
NO FUN I TELL YOU
and every time Baby U moves it hurts a lot more
I know that he has less room in there, however, this sickness has made it pretty horrible
and me more ready to be done being pregnant HOWEVER at the same time I sure hope that baby decides to wait until I am done being sick before he decides to make his appearance so I have more energy and I am all better and all the germs are out of the house!

Lots of this going on!!!

And as always my craving for sweets is pretty much the only thing that I have been wanting to eat :)
Sick and I still want desserts hahahah
chocolate chip cookies, oreos, brownies, ice cream, AND NOW

What Will You Look Like Sweet Little Boy.....

I dug out baby pics of us so that we can take them to the hospital with us and compare when you are born to compare who you look like or who you get certain traits from :)

DADDY                       MOMMY
8 lb 1 oz                        8 lb 12.5 oz
20 "                                21 1/2"
9:40pm                            1:37am

Daddy thinks you will have blonde/light hair
But looking at our pictures I can not imagine you NOT having a full head of DARK hair (which is the one thing I want you to have is lots and lots and lots of hair no matter what the color because I think its the cutest thing when babies have head full of hair)
Will you have a Mohawk like Mommy? A Calic like Daddy?
Big blue eyes your bound to have
Long Long Long Long

I JUST CAN NOT WAIT

15 days and counting
Due Date: Oct 2

All the family has started to put in there guesses on weight, length, and arrival date/time!
Two top days most people are guessing are the 25th (Daddy's guess @ 7:46pm) and the 30th (Mommy's Guess @ 2:30am)
I hope you surprise everyone and are small --everyone is just determined that you are going to be a big boy

Week 37

September 11, 2012
Week 37
Pregnancy Highlights:
Baby Size: 19-22 inches watermelon 6.5 lbs
Maternity Clothes: yes and no –I am just living in sweats and comfy pre pregnancy stuff
Stretch Marks: Nope and Hope to Avoid
Gender Predictions: BOY
Movement: hiccups daily still but they are very low so I know your head/chest are down
Your feet are still up in my ribs/side ALWAYS on the right side
And sometimes I feel like your butt is sticking out around the left side of my belly button
Sleep: I have the occasional rough night but for the most part doing pretty good

Had a dream awhile ago but forgot to share it –Grandma Robin and I were sitting on the couch and if I leaned to the side you would fall out the side and my skin would get really thin
I could see you!
Then Daddy and Uncle Trevor walked in so I of course had to show them and all I kept saying was “doesn’t he look just like McCoy” over and over and over again
What I miss: Im ready to have my body back ---starting to think about post baby, working out, and goals for getting my body back in shape!!!
Christmas is my “goal” day!!!
Food Cravings: BLT’s and Oreos (Halloween oreos are out)
Food Aversions: none
Symptoms: still no heartburn J
My digestive system is working well which is also an awesome plus
Certain days I have ZERO energy or desire to do anything at all
and others I am full of it and busy busy busy (it’s usually the next day that I am down for the count though)
Weight Gain: went to Dr this past Friday and we are up +27 which was only 1lb since last time we went!! My goal in the beginning was to not go over 30lbs so we will see if that happens 25-35lbs is supposedly what is healthy and I know he is a growing boy in there these days
Emotions: A lot of things make me very very angry and very very sad these days
The weirdest most strange things set me off
And poor daddy is handling it pretty well
I cry watching shows or getting random text messages from people
Grandpa Martin text me and said “wish I was going to be there for your very special delivery” and I was a blubbering mess!
Belly Button: outey most days or flesh with the skin –no more inny
Best Moment this week:  Went to Dr and everything is still good
You are head down
Not dilated
After she checked me and walked out daddy shook his head at me and said
“I am so disappointed in you” –hahah he is so excited and ready for you to be here
All the family is putting in their guesses from when you will come, your weight, and height
All I know is I hope you surprise everyone and don’t weigh that much!!!
And there is no doubt you will more than likely be a very long baby

What I’m looking forward to: seeing you!!! Just finally getting to meet you and see what you look like
ALSO when you and God have decided will be your birthday!!
What I’m NOT looking forward to: Still a little nervous about delivery, breastfeeding, motherhood, parenting as one, all the unknowns… but it will be a day by day process and learning on the go
I know God will be there every step of the way leading us
with your Daddy by my side--- I know we can do it –All for you!!!
Milestone: We are considered “Full Term” so safe to come whenever you are ready you are practicing breathing, sucking, blinking and moving from side to side
Labor signs: 3 more weeks
BH contractions still and more pelvic pressure than ever before
